Hillside garden with fire pit
A large sloping block with a long set of steps down the bank, a winding crushed granite path edged with boulders, a fire pit with stone seats and new lawn near the house.
We design and build gardens in Hurstbridge and the upper Diamond Creek valley, on town blocks and larger properties.

Hurstbridge sits at the top of the Diamond Creek valley, and the area was once known as Upper Diamond Creek. Blocks range from town lots near the station to larger properties on the hills around it.
On a sloping block we usually start with how you get around: steps, a path that follows the slope and level areas where you can put a table or a lawn. Stone or timber walls hold those levels, and planting helps bind the banks.
